World Environment Day 2024

The Cambodian Youth Network Association (CYN), in collaboration with 11 civil society organizations, organized World Environment Day 2024 under theme “The Well-being of the Planet is Our Shared Responsibility” with 224 participants included 111 females.

This event aimed:

• To celebrate the World Environment Day 2024 in Cambodia.

• To raise public awareness of the environment and climate change issues in Cambodia.

• To promote the implementation of national, international policies on environment protection and climate change responsibilities from all stakeholders.

• To gather the inputs from local people, local communities, youth, monks, civil society organizations, and associations especially women on challenges, proposals, and solutions related to the environment protection and climate change in order to disseminate to the public.
