participants monitoring of celebrate Arbor Day in Cambodia through plants 4000 trees that organized by Prey Lang Network of from four provincials as Steng Treng, Krotie, Kampong Thom, and Preah Vihear provices. Four targets to planting the baby tree as the first at Beung Pagoda, second Chuom Sva Pagoda, third Snong Orn Pagoda, and lastly Asrom Phnom Chi at Rolos village, Socheth commune, Sandan district, Kampong Thom provinces of Prey Lang Community Network. There were 163 participants (48 females), including Prey Lang Community Network, NGOs, youths, local authorities, local environmental officials, local Police, students, teacher and Archbishop. This event aims to celebrated Arbor Day 2024 on July 9th 2024 in Cambodia. The main purposes of planting this tree are:
1. To celebrate the Arbor Day, July 9, 2024 in Cambodia
2. Facilitate forest cover re-deployment of tree planting in pagodas and public squares
3. Good cooperation with law enforcement authorities through tree planting, forest protection and natural resources.
During the planting of saplings, traditional Khmer prayers are held to commemorate the day of strengthening protection and publicity.
