On the morning of Thursday, July 10, 2025, staff from the Cambodian Youth Network Association (CYN), alongside representatives from various associations, civil society organizations, unions, and federations, gathered to pay their respects to the late Dr. Kem Ley at the Caltex Bokor gas station. We also conducted a traditional Khmer-style memorial ceremony at Wat Botum Vatey (Wat Chas).
This ceremony marked the ninth anniversary of Dr. Kem Ley’s assassination. He was shot and killed by a gunman on July 10, 2016, at a Caltex gas station in Phnom Penh.
