Cambodian Youth Network (CYN) was founded in 2009 as a student and rural youth network with the aim to increase youth participation and civic engagement in Cambodia. CYN is a member-based organization and works with university students and youth in communities. CYN aims to provide skills-sharing and knowledge-building opportunities to youth groups, members, and activists, as well as build networks in order to put youth issues on political agendas.

Management Team
Mr. Heng Kimhong
President
Mr. Heng Kimhong, President of the Cambodian Youth Network Association CYN. Kimhong graduated with a Master of Law in 2022, and has been working with the Civil Society in Cambodia for eight years in the field of good governance, youth engagement, human rights and environmental justice, promoting social justice and civic place in Cambodia.
Kimhong started with CYN in 2021 as the head of Research and Advocacy Unit and was elected as the President in the 4st congress on 17th December 2023. He is knowledgeable of leadership, legal analyst, project management and MEL, research and publication, and camaraderie.
Ms. NAY Rathana
Head of Operation Unit
Ms. Nay Rathana is Head of Operation of Cambodian Youth Network (CYN). She joins CYN in 01 July, 2019. She’s responsible for the overall Head of Operation within the organization, admin and finance management.
She has 4.5 years of experience working with the company in Cambodia as an Accountant and Finance officer. I’m graduated balance degree at Cambodia Mekong University my major is Accounting. This is a new position for her but she is happy and willing to learn and grow with CYN.
Mr. MOEU CHANDARA
Head of Youth Organizing & Empowerment Unit
MOEU CHANDARA is a young passionate social worker, and human right practitioner, possess years-experiences working with NGO, communities, and youth to fostering youth and community engaging in leadership and strategic input, human resources and staff capacity building, communication and partnership, youth organizing, human rights, and environmental rights protection. This includes demonstrated skill in funding, project management, monitoring and evaluation, human rights education, progressive report to donors, team capacity building, technical support, campaign organizing, and advocacy, particular in relation with youth organizing and empowerment, human rights and environmental issues. I am committed to leveraging my skills and experiences for positive social change.
Mr. VANN BUNNA
Head of Research and Advocacy Unit
Mr. Vann Bunna is the Head of Research and Advocacy Unit at the Cambodian Youth Network Association (CYN). With significant experience in youth empowerment, leadership development, research, and political analysis, he has played a key role in strengthening and promoting CYN’s research and advocacy. He has previously led youth empowerment programs and projects at Transparency International Cambodia and the Youth Resource Development Program. He has also published numerous analytical and research articles on Cambodian politics and regional affairs in national and international media. Additionally, he is a lecturer in political science and international relations at several universities in Phnom Penh. These experiences and skills are important in contributing to expanding youth voices and advocating for positive change in Cambodia.
