They also foster inclusive participation and create safe spaces for women to take active leadership roles in conservation
The Prey Lang Wildlife Sanctuary offers young women opportunity to gain leadership skills, contribute to environmental conservation, and advocate for gender equality while fostering empowerment and community involvement in protecting natural resources. Chanthou’s involvement represents women’s voices, advocating for inclusive participation within CYN network and promoting gender justice. She aims to increase the number of women involved and to make them confident about protecting natural resources in Cambodia while ensuring that spaces remain safe for young women. Chanthou is dedicated to unlocking the potential of young women to foster inclusive participation and advance gender justice in natural resource protection.
