Monday October 21st, 2024
The Cambodian Youth Network Association organized the 2024 Active Youth Activist Camp and Forum, with the theme “Empowering Active Youth to Promote Better Social Justice,” from October 9 to 12, 2024, in Mondulkiri province. There were 35 participants, 27 of whom were women and 1 LGBTIQ+.
The program aims to build capacity and knowledge on network compilation, contextual analysis, qualitative legal analysis, and effective advocacy for young social activists and human rights defenders, and to create a cohesive space for cooperation and networking among active citizens, members, social activists, and young human rights defenders so that their voices reach decision-makers inclusively.
This activity was implemented with financial support from USAID-Cambodia, Diakona, and our funding partners.
