Annual Assembly 2024 of Cambodian Youth Network Association!
On December 22, 2024, the Cambodian Youth Network Association (CYN) held its Annual Assembly, which convened 60 participants, including members, members of the Board of Directors, staff, and founders. The assembly provided updates on the organization’s achievements, program outcomes, budget status, and policy developments. Additionally, CYN facilitated a dialogue among members to share experiences and strategies for adapting to the evolving global and Cambodian societal contexts.
As a youth-led organization, CYN continues our commitment to transparency and to enhancing youth leadership and active participation. We aim to strengthen our role in promoting and protecting human rights, social justice, and natural resource conservation. This annual gathering of our members emphasizes their significant role in providing feedback, sharing perspectives, and actively contributing to the association’s advancement. It also includes the election of the Executive Director, which occurs every four years. CYN is dedicated to promoting youth leadership, advocating for human rights, social justice, and sustainable resource management. Our members are essential in shaping the future of the association by advising, electing leaders, and providing valuable input every four years.
This year, we also initiated a consultation process to gather feedback on the new strategic plan for 2025-2029, which focuses on key interventions, objectives, and activities.
