Should youth or environmental defenders in Cambodia receive support and encouragement?
The Cambodia Youth Network Association cooperated with its partners to organize the national policy dialogue on “Youth Participation in Environmental Protection” on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Cambodia faces environmental issues, including deforestation, water pollution, and climate change. Encouraging youth to participate in solving these problems is essential because young people are a powerful resource for sustainable change.
The national policy dialogue serves as a platform for youth leaders, policymakers, environmental experts, and environmental activists to engage in open discussions on environmental issues, the importance of youth involvement in policy-making, and solutions that reflect the perspectives and needs of youth regarding environmental sustainability.
All relevant parties, including the public, authorities, policymakers, and environmental experts, are encouraged to support the empowerment of youth and environmental activists in their work.
