Youth-Led Report Lurching on Assessment on Level Understanding of the Code of Environment and Natural Resource
After a three-month study led by three youths, CYN members and the Youth Fellowship are lurching in the morning on 7th December 2024, the primary assessment study of the level of understanding of the Code of Environment and Natural Resources is to assess how much youth and communities understand the code and how the public will be knowledgeable about it in the future​ after one-year had adopted. Close to 300 youth and communities have engaged in process surveys online and in focus group discussions. The research hosted by our youth members raised some recommendations to increase awareness about the code and increase commitment to protecting natural resources protection.
The youth-led research is hard worked on by CYN members Dam Sosreyneang, Nob Sreypich, and Thong Chhingcheav, with technical support from CYN. This study has financial support from Mission Alliance Cambodia, the European Union, and Diakonia Asia. The soft study will be available on CYN’s website shortly in the Khmer version only.
